Which file types are supported?
Images: JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF (Pro & Agency). SVG. Videos: MP4, MOV, AVI, WebM. Other: PDF, HTML, plain text.

What is LessFlux?
LessFlux is a media optimization platform that makes websites faster and lighter. It compresses images and videos, converts them into next-gen formats like WebP and AVIF, and delivers them through a global CDN. All processing runs on our side, so your server stays unaffected.

Will the optimization process slow down my site?
No. Unlike local optimization plugins, LessFlux performs all compression and conversion externally. Your site remains fast and stable during uploads, thumbnail generation, and page rendering.

Will LessFlux improve my Google PageSpeed score?
Yes. Image size is one of the main factors in Google PageSpeed Insights and Core Web Vitals. LessFlux reduces file weight by up to 70% without visible quality loss, delivers next-gen formats, and serves files via CDN — all of which can improve performance metrics.

Does LessFlux keep a copy of my originals?
No. We process and temporarily store optimized versions for up to 24 hours for delivery. We do not keep permanent copies or backups.

Can I restore originals through LessFlux?
No. Since we do not retain backups, restoring originals must be done from your own hosting backups.

Can I stop a bulk optimization process?
Yes. LessFlux allows you to pause or stop bulk jobs at any time. Already optimized files remain optimized, and you can resume later without losing progress.

Does LessFlux optimize existing media in my library?
Yes. You can run a bulk optimization process for all past uploads.

Is WordPress multisite supported?
Multisite environments have not yet been fully tested.

How secure is LessFlux?
We only store what is necessary: account data you provide in app.lessflux.com, WordPress version/user agent information, and optimization logs. We do not access sensitive data. LessFlux sets no cookies and is GDPR-compliant.

Can I integrate LessFlux outside of WordPress?
Yes. LessFlux offers an open API that works with any PHP project or CMS. You can send images and videos directly to the API and receive optimized versions in return.
